Join Our Team as a Groundskeeper

If so, Stintino Management is looking for a dependable Groundskeeper to join our team at The District North Hills in Raleigh, NC.

Pay: $19–$21 per hour (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property grounds and common areas
• Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, watering, weeding, and planting
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the community and maintain cleanliness of breezeways, sidewalks, parking lots, and amenity areas
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and snow or storm cleanup as needed
• Maintain pools, outdoor amenities, and recreational areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents
• Monitor irrigation systems and report any issues or needed repairs
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and apartment turns as needed
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and storage areas are kept clean, organized, and in good working condition
• Report safety hazards, property damage, and maintenance concerns promptly to management
• Coordinate with vendors when necessary under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting professionally with residents, vendors, and team members

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive motion tasks
• Basic knowledge of landscaping equipment and safe operating procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multifamily or apartment community groundskeeping
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and seasonal landscaping maintenance
• Experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters
• Pool maintenance experience or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus
